Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (high school diploma or GED with 8+ years of relevant experience)
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in continuous improvement
- Familiarity with conveyance systems, automatic sortation equipment, material handling systems, and product storage solutions is advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Access and Project
- Strong ability to develop and present impactful solutions to various stakeholders
- Experience in creating productivity metrics and reporting tools
- Competence in identifying and designing engineering tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assess logistics operations and document product and information flow using value stream maps and process flow diagrams
- Analyze storage data and order volume to guide operational strategies
- Lead and coordinate productivity enhancement projects across industry sectors
- Incorporate Quality Driven Management (QDM) standards and utilize enterprise capabilities
- Evaluate strengths and deficiencies in the application of QDM methodologies
- Propose and implement process enhancements and automation upgrades for existing workflows
- Aid in executing approved solutions and recommendations
- Collaborate with project teams to present analysis and solutions to clients
- Assist with data management, reporting, and developing automation tools for engineering processes
- Provide analytics and financial insights to facilities to uncover improvement prospects
- Support facilities in meeting their annual continuous improvement targets
- Act as a Continuous Improvement subject matter expert for field operations
