Requirements
Must:
- Currently enrolled in a college program focusing on Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Active participation or completion of coding courses and previous coding or scripting experience
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and demonstrate interest in emerging technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Willingness to collaborate with team members and embrace challenging learning opportunities
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Positive, energetic attitude with a willingness to learn and provide constructive feedback or new ideas
- Commitment to a full-time work schedule of 38 hours per week throughout the internship
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with experienced members of the Farm Bureau Server Team to enhance skills and acquire beneficial IT technologies
- Obtain practical experience through project work, production support, and fulfilling technical requirements
- Participate in divisional activities to explore various areas of Information Technology
- Engage in organizational events to gain insights about Farm Bureau Financial Services and the insurance sector
- Learn about agile methodologies by taking part in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions
