Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Finance Engineering.
- Proficiency in developing services using modern Object-Oriented Programming languages, with C# as a primary focus.
- Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with GitOps patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools, such as BuildKite and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and infrastructure.
- Understanding of AWS services including API Gateway, workflow orchestration, and serverless applications.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform and Helm, is an advantage.
- Experience in designing and interacting with relational databases.
- Exposure to streaming technologies, such as Kafka, is preferred.
- Ability to clearly document code, research, and designs, with experience in tools like Jira and Confluence being beneficial.
- Proven competency in translating requirements into design and developing applications.
- Understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Demonstrated capability in driving operational excellence and providing on-call support.
- Proficient in unit testing, as well as integrating testing tools and best practices within the software development lifecycle.
- Experience in an Agile development environment.

- Deliver high-quality solutions while addressing complex challenges using appropriate technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with the team to invent, design, and develop stable and efficient software.
- Utilize a diverse set of design approaches, applying them judiciously based on context.
- Maintain code clarity for ease of understanding by other developers.
- Minimize reliance on temporary fixes and aim for appropriate complexity in solutions.
- Create adaptable software without unnecessary complexity, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Engage in technical discussions and assist in crafting and executing solutions.
- Pair program with junior team members and aid in their professional growth.
- Consistently identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to software and processes.
- Address root causes of complex issues, enhancing maintainability.
- Facilitate training for new team members on the software architecture and its broader context.
- Foster constructive team dialogue and seek resolutions to challenges.
- Participate in recruitment efforts and mentoring within the team.
- Estimate project tasks accurately and ensure timely delivery.
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities as needed to support clients and address issues promptly.
- Stay informed on industry standards and open-source tools.
