Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise in a security engineering role with demonstrated effects across various domains, including Zero Trust, Endpoint Security, and Data Protection.
- Intermediate proficiency in a scripting language such as Python, Go, or Ruby; our team primarily utilizes Python and PowerShell, with some experience in Go.
- Background in identity access management frameworks and protocols such as SAML, SCIM, OAuth, and WebAuthN.
- Ability to analyze threats to infrastructure and implement prevention-oriented architectures and controls effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders, including engineering and legal teams globally.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving setting and navigate uncertainty.
Responsibilities
- Implement proactive models such as secure by default and zero trust to establish sustainable security environments.
- Act as a security subject matter expert, fostering relationships with internal teams to facilitate business objectives and overcome security obstacles.
- Develop team roadmaps by keeping abreast of emerging threats and autonomously identifying security risk areas.
- Utilize automation and development approaches to enhance enterprise-wide security controls.
- Harness AI as a multiplier for Security Engineering and overall operations at FanDuel.
- Provide support for the security organization as needed, promoting a unified team effort.
