Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or similar) - Preferably holds an MS or PhD in a relevant discipline - Candidates with a PhD should have showcased research in deep neural networks and related applications - Candidates with an MS should possess substantial experience in developing machine-learning-powered products - Over 7 years of hands-on data science experience or an equivalent blend of research and industry expertise - Proven expertise in customer personalization and model development - Strong practical skills in modern deep learning techniques for personalization, including embeddings, sequence models, and transformers - Familiarity with experimentation to assess model impacts - Proficient in using behavioral and marketing data for model creation - Proficient in SQL and Python - Experience with technologies such as MLFlow, Spark, and Databricks - Ability to write production-level code while understanding programming fundamentals - Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity - An enthusiasm for Sports or Sports Gaming is a plus

- Develop and implement large-scale recommendation and ranking models to enhance personalized experiences across platforms - Define and advance the technical framework for personalization systems by collaborating closely with ML Engineers and Data Engineers - Analyze large, intricate data sets using relevant tools and provide insightful strategic inputs - Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to segment users and forecast future behaviors - Lead projects from inception to completion, managing expectations and collaborating with team members to share insights and support data-driven decisions - Oversee the execution of cross-functional projects, introducing improvements and providing technical leadership - Stay informed on the latest developments in data science and utilize cutting-edge technology - Mentor and collaborate with members of the Data Science team and broader organization
