Requirements
Must:
- Proven technical expertise in a security engineering role with a substantial impact across various domains, including Zero Trust/Conditional Access, Endpoint Security, Data Protection, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and SaaS Security.
- At least intermediate experience in a scripting language such as Python, Go, or Ruby, with a focus on Python and PowerShell in our team.
- Familiarity with identity access management frameworks and protocols, including SAML, SCIM, OAuth, and WebAuthN.
- Strong proficiency in identifying and modeling threats to corporate infrastructure, emphasizing the establishment of prevention-first architectures and controls.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to engage with various stakeholders, from engineering to legal, on a global scale.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively navigate through uncertainty.
Responsibilities
- Implement innovative models like secure by default and zero trust to foster sustainably secure ecosystems.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal teams as a security subject matter expert to further business objectives and tackle security issues.
- Lead project roadmaps by staying informed on emerging threats and identifying potential security vulnerabilities independently.
- Utilize automation and development-oriented strategies to enhance enterprise-wide security measures.
- Harness AI as a powerful tool for advancing Security Engineering initiatives and overall operations at FanDuel.
- Provide support to the security organization as needed, embracing a collaborative team approach.
