Requirements

Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in Data Science or Analytics - At least 1 year of experience in building and deploying complex machine learning models - Developed technical skills for conducting efficient and comprehensive quantitative analysis - Proficient in SQL and skilled in managing large datasets with Microsoft Excel - Experienced in statistical or programming languages and tools (e.g., Python, R, C#, VBA) - Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences - Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus - Bachelors degree in a quantitative or technical field - Passion for sports is advantageous - Experience or interest in the Sports betting field is preferred

Responsibilities

- Manage data science projects from inception to completion, collaborating with stakeholders to establish project KPIs and providing regular updates - Conduct high-level analyses, customer segmentation, and predictive modeling to drive revenue through effective bonus distribution - Enhance our understanding of customer behaviors, promotional efficiencies, and bonus spending effectiveness - Generate innovative ideas and conduct exploratory analyses to convert behaviors into actionable features for modeling and segmentation - Create and refine models that solve business challenges, demonstrating measurable improvements to KPIs - Present findings and insights through clear visualizations and thorough explanations of results, recommendations, methods, and limitations - Work closely with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to improve data quality and modeling processes - Take initiative to acquire necessary skills and techniques, demonstrating independence and accuracy in work - Partner with stakeholders to identify areas for enhancement and support their strategic goals - Mentor and guide less experienced team members in their professional development - Propose new data science initiatives that show potential for enhancing revenue or customer satisfaction
