Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in desktop support and hands-on experience in troubleshooting computer hardware.
- Familiarity with operating systems, especially Windows environments.
- Experience with remote help desk software for resolving issues.
- Excellent customer service abilities, enabling clear communication of technical information to non-technical users.
- Understanding of firewall configurations and principles of network security is advantageous.
- Capability to function effectively in both team settings and independently.
- Previous experience in an IT support role is beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for users facing technical challenges with their computers and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, particularly in Windows environments.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and upkeep of both hardware and software.
- Travel to client sites to offer in-person support as needed.
- Use ticketing systems to record issues and monitor resolution status.
- Implement and oversee firewall settings to ensure the security of our network.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while managing user inquiries and concerns.
- Work alongside IT team members to uphold LAN connectivity and address network-related challenges.
- Document processes, solutions, and updates for future reference.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Computer Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a solid background in computer hardware and operating systems, along with a strong focus on customer service. This role is essential for providing technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and ensuring our IT infrastructure runs smoothly.
