Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's Degree or higher is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant technical experience.
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting, particularly with Active Directory, network diagnostics tools, and virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of operating systems including Windows Server and Linux, as well as cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
- Familiarity with VoIP systems and basic scripting capabilities (e.g., PowerShell) for task automation.
- Relevant certifications, such as those from Microsoft, are a plus.
Responsibilities
- I will be responsible for addressing and resolving technical inquiries via tickets, phone, email, chat, or remote access in a timely, professional manner, reflecting our company values.
- Offer expert technical support for the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Ensure a positive customer service experience for both internal and external clients.
- Train users and gather feedback to enhance training methodologies.
- Proactively identify common issues and communicate these insights to management.
- Aid in the onboarding process for new users.
- Document internal procedures and adhere to best practices.
- Install, test, and configure workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.
- Keep an inventory of equipment, software, licenses, and installation resources.
- Manage the setup and deployment of PCs in the office or at client sites, utilizing standard hardware and software images.
- Assign users and computers to Active Directory, whether local or cloud-based.
- Recommend hardware and software upgrades as necessary.
- Occasionally, be available to work evenings or weekends to meet project deadlines or resolve issues.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, as you will be the face of our company for many clients.
- Work with Windows and VMware technologies under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Regularly update documentation and ticketing systems.
