Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in service, sales, telesales, or guest relations industries is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Comprehensive understanding of the property, staff, services, hours of operation, room types, locations, rates, and discounts
- Familiarity with the Frequent Stay Program
- Knowledge of reservation procedures, including cancellations and handling overbooked guests
- Proficient in phone etiquette and answering procedures
- Awareness of local shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions to assist guest inquiries
- Updated on daily hotel operations, events, and new procedures
- Capability to perform Manager on Duty responsibilities as needed
- Ability to push or pull up to 60 pounds unassisted and lift or carry up to 30 pounds unassisted
- Competence in standing for extended periods, bending, stretching, and reaching
- Strong communication skills to interact with associates and guests effectively
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service in a welcoming and professional manner, aligning with LBA standards of hospitality
- Implement selling strategies to bolster hotel revenues
- Oversee all front office operations and act as Manager on Duty as required
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
- Represent the hotel during morning and afternoon shifts, ensuring that communication with management staff is seamless
