Cyber Defense Supervisor

To be considered for the Manager, Cyber Defense – Cyber Threat Prevention Services role, I expect candidates to possess the following qualifications: - 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in the cybersecurity sector, demonstrating increasing complexity and strategic influence. - Proven ability to lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, nurturing a collaborative and high-performance environment. - A successful track record of delivering cybersecurity solutions in a large organization. - Understanding of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, as well as modern tactics and techniques used by adversaries. - Familiarity with email security protocols and tools. - Experience in implementing enterprise Data Loss Prevention programs, including policy refinement, data classification, and discovery. - Background in managing enterprise vulnerability management programs, encompassing vulnerability scanning, prioritization, reporting, and metrics. - Strong organizational and prioritization skills, enabling effective management of multiple projects. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying security issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to assess and manage risks related to cybersecurity threats. - Commitment to remaining up-to-date with the latest trends in cybersecurity and changes within the threat landscape. - A servant leader with outstanding planning, analytical, decision-making, organization, communication, and teamwork abilities, combined with a robust understanding of commercial insurance. - Capacity to make difficult and rapid decisions daily with incomplete information across all products. - Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills that drive projects to completion. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members and leadership at all levels. - An imaginative and dynamic leader with a curious mindset and willingness to learn and explore new approaches. - A Bachelor’s degree in Information Security / Assurance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience or technical training with a non-related degree. - Related certifications such as CISSP, DLP, Crowdstrike EDR, GSEC, CCSP, GCED, GDAT, GDSA, GWAPT are a plus.
