Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree in a relevant field
- 2-5 years of experience in process enhancement and operational efficiency, or a similar background is preferred
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in technical support
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking in software data
- Experience with automation tools and batch scheduling
- Basic knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python is preferred)
- Proficiency in SQL query writing and understanding of database fundamentals
- Awareness of change management principles
- Experience with system monitoring tools
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including overnight
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of IT security best practices is a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee software applications to ensure they are functioning correctly
- Diagnose application issues and provide effective resolutions
- Evaluate the impact of updates or changes to existing system configurations
- Relay technical problems to support teams for troubleshooting
- Collect metrics to guarantee operational performance and control standards are achieved or exceeded
- Create and update comprehensive documentation and instruction manuals as necessary
- Assist in automating batch processing using enterprise scheduling tools
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated workflows
- Write and manage basic scripts for operational tasks (PowerShell, Python)
- Aid in change management processes and maintain related documentation
- Execute SQL queries for operational data analysis and validation
- Participate in an overnight support rotation for critical business operations
- Help in implementing and testing automated monitoring solutions
- Ensure audit and compliance requirements for operational procedures are met
- Carry out additional duties as assigned
