Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant practical experience
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, or MCITP; CCNA certification is a plus
- Proven experience in building and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and meeting service deliverables
- Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, especially Lenovo and HP systems
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
- Significant experience with application support, particularly with tools like ConnectWise, Datto, Kaseya, or similar PSA/RMM platforms
- Ability to effectively document and take notes within a ticketing system
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on active listening
- Detail-oriented with substantial documentation abilities
- Capacity to prioritize effectively under pressure
- Proficiency in MS365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate various technical equipment
- Valid drivers license and dependable transportation for on-site service needs
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other technical support documentation based on ITIL best practices
- Resolve escalated tickets, ensuring accurate record-keeping of actions taken
- Provide support for data-center and VMWARE environments
- Troubleshoot Windows Server, Windows OS, OFFICE 365, and Mac issues
- Manage FCGs RMM, Cyber Security Suite, and other system management tools
- Address network-related problems at client sites, including Firewalls, Managed Switches, and Wireless configurations
- Offer continuous support to the Tier 1 Help Desk while enhancing documentation and training to reduce escalations
- Oversee projects involving remote subcontractors
- Assist in auditing internal tickets and projects
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, often acting as the technical subject matter expert
- Conduct and/or participate in interdepartmental training sessions
- Occasionally travel for multi-night assignments as required
- Join an on-call rotation as necessary
