- 5–10 years of project management experience in enterprise data, analytics, or business intelligence environments.
- Proven success in managing migrations of visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker.
- Proficient understanding of data modeling, data governance, and enterprise data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and hybrid delivery models; experience collaborating with vendor and partner teams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities across both technical and business domains.
- Preferred: PMP or Agile certification.
- Bonus: Experience in regulated industries like financial services, insurance, or healthcare, and familiarity with Power BI, Azure Data Services, or comparable BI platforms.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of the Tableau to Power BI migration, involving planning, gap analysis, data model refinement, and dashboard redevelopment.
- Work closely with business, analytics, data, and governance teams to articulate requirements and ensure project deliverables align with enterprise standards.
- Manage vendor coordination and integration efforts with onshore and offshore delivery teams.
- Track project milestones, budgets, risks, and executive reporting.
- Ensure uniformity in data definitions, lineage, and governance models across all reporting systems.
- Facilitate change management and promote end-user adoption of Power BI solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and help establish long-term best practices in business intelligence and reporting.

Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a comprehensive migration from Tableau to Power BI within a regulated data environment. In this role, you will coordinate with analytics, data engineering, and business teams, ensuring a seamless migration, adherence to governance protocols, and user engagement with enterprise reporting solutions. This position is hybrid, preferred in Winston-Salem, NC, but we are open to remote candidates in NC with periodic onsite visits. It is a W2 contract and is not available for C2C arrangements. The contract is open-ended with the potential for transition to a full-time position.
