Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following must-have skills:
- Hyperspace, Interconnect, Web BLOB, System Pulse, Multi-Purpose SQL.
- Experience with Epic ECSM (Epic Cloud Services Model) deployments.
- Understanding of Epic Cache & Chronicles Database architecture, particularly ODB/EDB structures.
- Strong working knowledge of Epic's recommended cloud architecture for Azure.
- Experience in implementing Epic's High-Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies in cloud environments.
Industry experience is required, as we need someone who can provide Epic infrastructure validation as a Subject Matter Expert for Epic on Azure migration.
Nice-to-have skills include:
- Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) - Preferred
- Epic Operational Database Administrator (ODBA) - Preferred
- Epic Interconnect Administrator - Preferred
- Epic Cache DBA - Preferred
- Epic Chronicles Database Training - Preferred
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) - Nice to Have
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) - Nice to Have
- F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-101, F5-201) - Nice to Have
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) - Nice to Have
Responsibilities
As an Epic Architect, you will work closely with ODBA, ECSA, cloud engineers, database administrators, networking teams, and security leads. Your primary task will be to define the optimal cloud architecture for Epic, ensuring a scalable, resilient, and compliant migration of Epic to an Azure secure cloud environment.
Description
This is a remote, on-site role with a duration of 12 months. The shift will be from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. We are excited to welcome a dedicated professional to join our team and contribute to innovative cloud solutions for our clients in the Global Multinational Professional Services industry.
