Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 5–7 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Proficient in software design and development of large systems
- Extensive troubleshooting and unit testing experience with both new and legacy systems
- Demonstrated programming experience with effective problem diagnosis and resolution skills
- Direct experience with hardware security technologies
- Strong background in low-level Windows code and firmware development
- Knowledge of encryption and decryption software
- Experience in OS and driver-level security development
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain advanced software and firmware components for Windows hardware security
- Optimize and refine complex software implementation projects
- Collect and analyze system requirements, documenting specifications
- Create software solutions that align with security requirements and client needs
- Review enhancement requests and evaluate technical specifications
- Implement and customize system software solutions
- Prepare comprehensive software specifications and test plans
- Develop new software programs and generate test data
- Modify existing software to comply with current standards
- Conduct unit tests on both new and legacy systems
- Create migration packages for system, user, and implementation testing
- Perform quality assurance reviews and execute post-implementation validation
- Identify and resolve defects in software systems
Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Design Engineer 3 for a hybrid role based in Building 86, Puget Sound, WA, for a duration of 6 months. This full-time position requires onsite work 3–4 days per week, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
