Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in cloud modernization and experience in modernizing enterprise platforms for cloud environments.
- Strong background and proficiency in Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Approximately 15 years of overall IT experience with around 10 years in architecture roles.
- In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with on-premise development and architecture.
- Experience with OpenShift and either MongoDB or CockroachDB.
- Proficient in CI/CD pipeline design.
- Experience in the payments domain is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of end-to-end solutions for complex, enterprise-scale systems.
- Convert business requirements into detailed, domain-driven technical designs.
- Architect scalable, cloud-sensitive microservices solutions.
- Participate in the renovation of legacy systems and shape the long-term technology direction.
- Work alongside engineering, product, and business teams to ensure solution compatibility and practicality.
Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join us for a significant modernization project focused on a large-scale payments platform that facilitates all transactions through the bank. Initially, you will concentrate on enhancing the commercial banking wires platform, guiding modernization efforts and creating a technical framework applicable to other platforms. Our work environment is hybrid, requiring you to be onsite three days a week in Charlotte, NC.
