- Fundamental understanding of laboratory procedures, analytical techniques, and safety protocols
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instruments
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
- Ability to accurately document results and adhere to testing protocols
Responsibilities
- Execute chemical and physical laboratory tests on various materials, liquids, and gases
- Conduct qualitative analyses and record test findings meticulously
- Prepare and manage samples for laboratory evaluations and analyses
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
- Assist in research initiatives and monitoring process controls
- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety guidelines and regulatory standards
- Keep precise records, logs, and reports from laboratory activities
- Provide support for quality assurance and troubleshooting activities as required
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace and equipment
Description
We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our esteemed Fortune 500 client in Columbus, Ohio. This position offers a duration of 9 months with a competitive pay rate of $22/hr on a W2 basis. In this role, you will be involved in various laboratory tasks that support research and quality control efforts, while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
