Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field is essential for leadership positions.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or food production sectors.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in engineering, maintenance, production, or continuous improvement capacities.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing systems, process measurement, control, troubleshooting, and engineering concepts.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical abilities, with an emphasis on problem-solving and process enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Direct the Plant Engineering function to guarantee all equipment, facilities, and systems function safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with Operations Leaders to carry out continuous improvement initiatives that boost performance metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and quality practices in line with SQF standards.
- Develop and oversee the facility capital budget, affirming that projects satisfy financial criteria and yield expected returns on investment.
- Offer technical and managerial leadership to achieve short-term and long-term manufacturing objectives, nurturing a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
