Requirements
Must:
- 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer (considering 5 years with exceptional skills)
- Proficiency in Python and PL/SQL programming as a database engineer
- Familiarity with pipeline automation tools like Jenkins Core, uDeploy, and GitHub Actions
- Expertise in Test Automation Tools and Frameworks such as Karate, Cypress, and Mockito
- Strong understanding of cloud engineering design principles and patterns
- Technical proficiency in CloudFormation, YML, GitHub, Artifactory, CloudWatch, and Datadog
- Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts, preferably LLM
- Prior experience in Agile software development environments
- Commitment to high quality coding standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong analytical skills for independent research and data verification
Responsibilities
- Drive automation initiatives within our database technology organization in a public cloud setting
- Serve as the technical domain expert in the Asset Management Database Engineering and Automation team
- Automate database deployments and processes across various database technologies in AWS, adhering to enterprise deployment standards
- Utilize cloud database automation tools and patterns for deployment, provisioning, encryption, and security
- Document and enforce strong practices in database engineering excellence
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams to ensure effective communication and project execution
- Commit to delivering high-quality technical solutions that meet organizational standards
- Research and propose recommendations for optimizing database processes and performance
