Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma, GED, or a comparable qualification
- Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and related components
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Willingness to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to adhere to detailed procedures and collaborate effectively within a team environment
Responsibilities
- Remove network cables during the decommissioning process of the datacenter
- Run, label, and stage power and networking cables for removal without scanning
- Follow established procedures to prepare, install, diagnose, troubleshoot, replace, and decommission equipment under supervision
- Prepare, stage, and set up hardware, performing basic startups and shutdowns according to written instructions and standard practices
- Conduct physical audits of datacenter assets to ensure accuracy and compliance
