Data Center Maintenance Specialist

- I expect you to perform assigned basic tasks such as conducting rounds, recording observations within the facility, and taking measurements, all under varying levels of supervision. - Learn to operate all systems and equipment safely and professionally, while understanding the associated risks. - You will be required to conduct routine monitoring and inspections of critical facility equipment like controls, HVAC, and mechanical systems, identifying unsafe or abnormal conditions. - I need you to monitor the performance of equipment maintenance and operations within the data center, including electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems. - Utilize our internal computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track equipment assets and complete maintenance work order requests. - You will perform various maintenance types such as planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance, adhering to established methods and procedures, and assisting with administrative tasks as directed. - I need you to conduct basic troubleshooting of equipment and systems independently, and also collaborate with senior colleagues for complex troubleshooting tasks. - Document any tasks or issues encountered during maintenance and troubleshooting for future reference, escalating issues as necessary. - Assess and identify resources and equipment essential to support environmental health and safety (EH&S) objectives. - Prepare and submit required reports per established scripts and templates. - Document completed work using approved tools and templates for senior-level review. - Develop methods of operating procedures (MOPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and efficient execution.
