Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associates degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology, or a related discipline is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Civil Design and/or Civil Drafting.
- Strong proficiency with engineering and CADD software, particularly AutoCAD Civil 3D, is highly preferred.
- Experience with diverse land development projects, including both greenfield and brownfield sites.
- A valid Drivers License is necessary, as occasional field work is needed.
Responsibilities
- Execute CAD drafting using survey data to produce accurate civil and site drawings.
- Develop comprehensive site and civil plans, including grading, utility arrangement, and Stormwater Management (SWM) and Erosion & Sediment Control (E&S) plans.
- Design various civil details and visuals to support project documentation and presentations.
- Provide office support through area, slope, and volume calculations to maintain project precision.
- Engage in fieldwork when required, supervising construction activities and assisting surveyors to ensure project compliance and quality.
