Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the administration of Linux and Windows servers.
- At least 2 years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8 and above).
- Proficiency in WebSphere administration, particularly with WAS 8.* and higher.
- Understanding of server certificate installation, security patches, and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work on-site in Knoxville, TN, with a dedication to supporting government operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and uphold Linux and Windows server environments to ensure they operate at optimal performance and security levels.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and assist with application services on clustered Linux platforms.
- Regularly install and update server certificates and security patches.
- Test and set up JDBC connections to support application functionalities.
- Perform basic Linux shell scripting to automate common tasks and enhance system efficiency.
