- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, with 8 years of professional software development experience, OR a Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, OR equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the iOS ecosystem, including Swift, SwiftUI, and Xcode, with a strong desire to develop high-performing and enjoyable app experiences.
- Proven experience in technical leadership, including mentorship and establishing high-quality standards.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and the GitHub ecosystem, including GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities
- Advocate for the iOS platform, ensuring a high-quality native approach to address complex user experience challenges.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of designers, product managers, and engineers across Expedia Group to create outstanding user experiences.
- Bring innovative ideas from industry best practices and your insights to engineering management, transforming them into meaningful enhancements for our users.
- Promote and utilize AI tools as a supportive resource to expedite development and encourage team adoption.
- Make informed, data-driven decisions, showing the value of proposed solutions to gain support and shape strategy.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code by applying software design principles, data structures, and design patterns.
- Mentor and guide fellow engineers, maintaining a high standard of quality while fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Manage and enhance software projects in production environments, including bug fixing, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
