Requirements
Must:
- Must be available to start on August 17, 2026.
- Must possess a bachelors or masters degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, information technology) between December 2025 and July 2026.
- Must be willing to relocate to the job city if the commute is too long.
- Must commit to full-time work each week.
- Must have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Preferred: Familiarity with fundamental concepts of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python, C#).
- Preferred: Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Preferred: Strong communication skills with an ability to connect with a variety of stakeholders (internally and externally, in both technical and non-technical roles).
- Bilingual in English and French is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with your immediate team to address questions and concerns; communicate effectively with your manager and assigned mentor for guidance.
- Be comfortable with common development tools and able to use them with assistance (e.g., GitHub or an IDE environment).
- Show an ability to learn and apply foundational software development concepts such as design principles, algorithms, and coding practices.
- Understand the underlying business rationale of a particular feature or project.
- Grasp the primary components of team design by asking questions to your colleagues.
- Respond to requests using approved company tools (email, Slack, Excel, etc.).
- Enhance coding capabilities by familiarizing yourself with new tools and programming languages.
- Operate in a dynamic work environment to produce high-quality software.
