Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related domain.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar field.
- Strong grasp of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
- Familiarity with networking equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls from manufacturers like Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure, both independently and in a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
- Relevant certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or comparable qualifications are highly advantageous.
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company positively.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee network infrastructures for clients, including LAN, WAN, and wireless systems.
- Conduct network evaluations and audits to uncover potential problems and areas for enhancement.
- Work closely with clients to comprehend their unique networking requirements and deliver customized solutions.
- Monitor network performance and resolve issues to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
- Execute and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients, including necessary training and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in networking technologies and industry trends to offer innovative solutions.
- Assist in formulating network policies and procedures to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
