Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge and application of problem-solving strategies and engineering theories
- Understanding of engineering designs, principles, and practices
- Familiarity with complex field testing equipment
- 4-7 years of professional engineering experience
- Extensive knowledge of regulations, guidelines, standards, codes, and advanced engineering principles
- Minimum of two relevant career experiences (changes in technical job responsibilities)
- Engineer in Training certification or progress towards advanced technical degree, M.B.A., or Project Management Certification
Responsibilities
- Conduct engineering tasks associated with significant engineering projects or multiple smaller projects that are complex in nature
- Undertake assignments in areas where engineering precedents are incomplete or require substantial experience
- Evaluate, develop, and implement projects that have moderate financial and operational implications
- Potentially serve as an expert within the organization in a specific area, which may include delivering classroom training or on-the-job training
