Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in telecommunications, electrical, or computer engineering, or a combination of 3-6 years of education and experience
- Proficiency in applying basic monitoring principles and tools
- Experience or direct exposure to real-time networks
- Ability to leverage technical resources and collaborate across the IT team
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts
- Strong customer service orientation
- Eagerness to learn dependency management
- Demonstrated energy and persistence in task completion
- Capability to seek guidance from team members with more experience
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle for site visits
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and engineering assistance for deploying and operating IT solutions in Cyber, Fiber Optics, Firewalls, Real Time Networks, SmartGrid, and Wireless Communication technologies
- Foster productive client relationships while executing telecommunications projects and maintaining existing technology
- Collaborate with the IT Architecture and Engineering community for the introduction of new technologies and optimal resource allocation
- Analyze IT data to identify trends, proposing actionable insights and participating in architecture reviews
- Assist with convening data protection requirements and documenting potential solutions
- Uphold established best practices, standards, and methodologies within the work area
- Complete tasks punctually while adhering to SLAs and demonstrate leadership in project execution
