Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience - 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in programming technologies, or 6 - 9 years of a relevant combination of education and work experience in lieu of a degree - Proficient in software development with the ability to work under tight deadlines - Strong teamwork skills with self-motivation in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information in simple terms - Familiarity with Operating Systems such as Windows, Solaris, or Linux - Knowledgeable in 1-2 programming languages or frameworks (e.g., Java, .Net, C#, HTML, Angular, TypeScript) - Understanding of Relational Databases and basic design techniques - Experience writing code to consume APIs and creating new APIs based on design specifications - Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to investigate and resolve simple code issues independently - Familiarity with Agile methodology and test-driven development - Experience in automated testing including unit, UI, and functional testing - Capability to manage more complex software tasks with supervision and create thorough documentation - Consistently applies development best practices and fosters relationships beyond the core team

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain both new and existing software solutions to satisfy business requirements while adhering to IT development standards - Collaborate with business and IT partners to ensure efficient, cost-effective solutions that meet business needs, while drafting product specifications and design documentation - Work alongside other project teams or IT partners to synchronize solution delivery and minimize technology risks - Maintain communication with the development team lead regarding progress and challenges related to assigned tasks - Enhance knowledge of preferred technologies and best practices, contributing to peer code reviews and demonstrating strong debugging skills - Participate in IT architecture reviews and assist in developing white papers and presentations to justify technology recommendations
