Must:
We seek candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Networking, along with 4 to 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure design, application design, cloud computing, or disaster recovery. Alternatively, candidates may have 6 to 9 years of relevant experience. Experience in system administration and a proven ability to design and document processes and procedures are required. Previous experience transitioning work to operational teams and a maintained focus on data analytics business intelligence, specifically with 5 years dedicated to Power BI development, is essential. We value strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to effectively communicate complex technical information in understandable terms, both in writing and verbally. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in building and sustaining relationships through teamwork, and the capability to influence others at all levels. A record of innovation by utilizing diverse perspectives and emerging technologies to provide inventive solutions is desired. Additionally, familiarity with project management principles, financial impact analysis, and troubleshooting and monitoring tools is important.
Responsibilities
In this senior IT role, I expect you to lead discussions with business partners and vendors to gather vital information. Consulting with leadership, architecture, project teams, and end users, you will identify system requirements and analyze the feasibility of potential changes related to current and future security and technical architectures. You will be responsible for drafting and distributing system specifications, logical and physical architecture diagrams, and implementation plans. Your role will involve delivering practical, efficient, and economical solutions to meet business needs, which may include hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, optimization, and tracking supporting metrics. You will collaborate with others to develop future plans, resource allocations, migration strategies, and project timelines. Presentations to Engineering and Architecture Review Boards will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. As you mentor less experienced engineers, you will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of current technologies and service offerings. Your contributions should focus on designing, supporting, and maintaining custom system integrations that address customers' specific needs while staying current with emerging IT system technologies.
