Senior Software Engineer - Oracle CC&B

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5-8 years of pertinent experience (JAVA, Groovy Scripting Language, and SQL) or a combination of 9-12 years of relevant education and experience - Proven ability to lead small to medium-sized teams in delivering software solutions - Strong software development skills with the ability to perform under pressing deadlines - Excellent teamwork capabilities with a self-driven approach to achieving success in a dynamic environment - Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex technical information into comprehensible terms (both written and verbal) - Extensive knowledge of Operating Systems such as Windows, Solaris, or Linux; or a robust understanding of cloud platforms like Azure, Amazon, or Google - Profound grasp of advanced programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms - Mastery in 2-3 programming languages/frameworks, familiar with functional programming concepts and their application - Proficient in utilizing database features like views, stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined data types (UDT) with knowledge of index syntax for efficient query operations - Comprehensive knowledge of primary APIs and the ability to design end-to-end new APIs - Capable of independently managing analysis and support activities - Full-stack development experience - Ability to collaborate effectively with team members including designers, business analysts, and architects while establishing best practices - Subject Matter Expertise in a critical area of technology - Skill in translating requirements into actionable solutions, estimating tasks, and assisting in planning and breaking down larger work sections
