Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5-8 years of relevant experience in programming or automation technologies, or a combination of education and experience totaling 9-12 years.
- Proven track record of leading small to medium teams in delivering software solutions.
- Strong software development skills with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent teamwork abilities and self-motivation to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication skills, capable of translating complex technical information into easily understandable terms (both oral and written).
- Proficient with Operating Systems such as Windows, Solaris, or Linux; or strong knowledge of cloud services like Azure, Amazon, or Google.
- In-depth comprehension of advanced programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Mastered 2-3 programming languages/frameworks and understands functional programming.
- Well-versed in utilizing database views, stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined data types (UDT).
- Solid understanding of major APIs and the ability to design end-to-end APIs.
- Capable of independent troubleshooting for analysis and support activities.
- Full-stack development experience.
- Able to work collaboratively with team members, including designers and business analysts, to define and implement best practices.
- Subject Matter Expertise in a specific area, converting requirements into actionable solutions and assisting in project planning.
Responsibilities
- Engage with business partners to extract information, analyze requirements, and deliver practical and cost-effective solutions to meet business needs while producing product specifications and design documentation.
- Lead the engineering team and oversee less experienced engineers, prioritizing tasks and bug resolutions based on error reports while staying updated on the latest technologies and trends.
- Design, develop, and review complex code to ensure compliance with functional and technical specifications, including developing various applications and automated testing solutions.
- Capture and address all risks and issues affecting the project in accordance with established processes.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of preferred technologies, methodologies, and policies while maintaining strong debugging and problem-solving skills through peer code reviews.
- Provide IT teams with technology solutions by assessing the benefits of current trends, market availability, and risks to fulfill business/IT needs and contribute to IT architecture reviews and standards discussions.
