Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field with 4-7 years of relevant experience in data warehouse design, business intelligence reporting, and ETL/TLT processing, or a combination of 6-9 years of education and work experience - In-depth knowledge of Big Data technology and its influence on the companys systems infrastructure - Experience establishing enterprise-wide data standards, including business definitions and naming conventions - Participation in user interviews as part of a systems development team to gather analytical or technical information - Proficiency in PowerShell, Ansible, or other relevant scripting tools for automating tasks, generating reports, and fixing existing scripts - Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle and its correlation with overall development processes - High ability to convey information to users, management, and customers with varying levels of knowledge on the subject - Comprehensive understanding of using various tools in complex applications - Solid grasp of the functionalities of standard monitoring tools - Expertise in data modeling using various tools and large-scale data model development within the industry - Skills in developing and integrating catalogs and comprehensive knowledge of Customer, meter, and Asset systems - Familiarity with cloud technology and data modeling - Proficient in demonstrating data management and interpretation abilities in practical contexts of moderate complexity - Capability to leverage emerging technologies for innovative solutions and contribute to white papers - Ability to foster and maintain effective relationships and synthesize business partner needs effectively

Responsibilities

- Conduct, document, and assist in the planning of work activities related to projects, sub-projects, or processes, including analyzing requirements and designing, building, and testing Data Models for IT solutions adhering to project management standards - Support the development of documentation for products and services, utilizing best practices to enhance offerings for business unit partners and ensure compliance with Team/Group standards - Foster engagement with business and IT partners as well as other stakeholders - Create a positive team dynamic by mentoring and training less experienced personnel - Continuously build technical knowledge and business expertise within the relevant discipline or function - Solve complex issues, collaborating with vendors and IT professionals as necessary - Assist in crafting work plans with minimal oversight and proactively identify and resolve unexpected challenges - Conduct analyses of data security systems to maintain effective security measures, preparing reports on system utilization - Make informed decisions regarding monitoring configurations like sample sizes and criticality levels - Drive the innovation process through regular assessment and application of lessons learned to implement improvements for future initiatives - Operate with limited supervision
