Requirements
Must:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in product management.
- Minimum of 3 years in software engineering, especially focused on SaaS and developer experience.
- Strong technical foundation in software engineering and cloud computing, with a focus on JavaScript.
- Significant experience in technical areas such as infrastructure, APIs, security, or backend systems.
- Capability to convert complex engineering concepts into straightforward product guidelines.
- Knowledge of semantic versioning related to SDKs and server APIs.
- Proficient in making product decisions prioritizing end-to-end latency and API reliability.
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and ensuring timely product launches.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with SaaS or developer platforms; experience in security or identity platforms is advantageous.
- Proficient with macOS and comfortable working remotely using tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Zoom.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the product strategy for technical domains, including our Platform, management and server APIs, and JavaScript Agent.
- Collaborate with Engineering Management and Product Marketing teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
- Develop clear roadmaps that correspond with customer requirements, business objectives, and architectural strategies.
- Work with customer success to lead technical product discovery and collect requirements.
- Produce concise, lean PRDs that detail user needs and the reasoning behind them.
- Generate comprehensive documentation to support adoption and success among developers.
- Establish frameworks and KPIs for evaluating success and product quality across API and platform projects.
