Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in AWS Migration is a plus.
- Expertise in architecting and designing scalable, secure, and highly available database solutions on AWS.
- Ability to create AWS cloud solutions that align with business and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with assessing existing database infrastructures and advising on modernization tactics using AWS services.
- Proficient knowledge of AWS services such as S3, RDS, EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
- Skills in implementing best practices for database efficiency, security, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Experience in collaborating with application teams, DevOps, and cloud engineers for seamless integration.
- Ability to provide insights on cloud best practices, automation, and DevOps integration.
- Experience in offering technical leadership and mentorship to junior database professionals.
- Capability to review and enhance documentation regarding database architecture, migration strategies, and operational protocols.
- Understanding of customer requirements to deliver accurate, timely, and effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available database solutions on AWS.
- Architect AWS cloud solutions that meet both business and technical needs.
- Assess current database environments and propose modernization strategies utilizing AWS services.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of AWS services including S3, RDS, EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
- Implement best practices to enhance database performance, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Work closely with application teams, DevOps, and cloud engineers to ensure smooth integration.
- Offer guidance on cloud best practices, automation, and integration with DevOps practices.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior database engineers and architects.
- Evaluate and improve documentation related to database architecture, migration plans, and operating procedures.
- Grasp customer needs and develop accurate, timely, and effective solutions.
