Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
- 4+ years of experience with Spring Boot
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- 5+ years of experience with Bootstrap
- 7+ years of experience with JavaScript
- 3+ years of experience with Angular
- Proficient in back-end technologies including Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL
- Strong front-end development skills with Angular, Typescript, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap
- Experience using build tools for JavaScript/CSS (NPM, Sass, etc.) and Java (Gradle)
- Familiarity with developing accessible UI compliant with Section 508 standards
- Previous mentoring experience with junior developers
- Capability to write automated unit and end-to-end tests for both front-end and back-end components
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as Git and Jira
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in interfacing with government clients and contractor personnel
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the software development team to support web development initiatives from conception to production
- Maintain high standards and best practices throughout the development cycle
- Design and implement client-side functionalities using a mix of technologies
- Develop back-end logic utilizing Java and various Spring frameworks
- Create complex web applications and reusable components for enterprise-wide use
- Participate in regular team meetings and discussions, contributing to team-based project planning
- Mentor and guide fellow developers to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Ensure code quality through automated testing techniques
- Uphold standards for developing accessible user interfaces in compliance with regulations
- Engage in continuous learning to remain current with industry trends and technologies
