Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline—or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of business analysis experience within an enterprise setting, specifically supporting Accounting and Finance functions.
- More than 5 years of practical experience with Workday Financials, encompassing configuration, reporting, and integrations.
- A solid understanding of finance operations and essential processes, including Q2C, OTC, P2P, and RTR.
- At least 5 years of experience in crafting and managing test scripts alongside performing end-user testing.
- Over 5 years of experience in creating custom reports and calculated fields in Workday.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and data handling for reporting and integrations.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, and SharePoint.
- At least 3 years of experience with IT service management or ticketing systems like ServiceNow or JIRA.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Financials, leading the gathering and documentation of business requirements, functional designs, and configuration specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Finance and Accounting to enhance and optimize business processes (e.g., Q2C, P2P, RTR).
- Configure and provide support for various Workday modules, which includes data imports via EIBs, report development, calculated fields, and integration assistance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, such as business process flows, technical requirements, test scripts, and user training materials.
- Oversee and assist with testing for new implementations, enhancements, and troubleshooting issues.
- Develop and sustain custom Workday reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Deliver end-user support, training, and continuous system maintenance in coordination with IT and HRIS teams.
- Manage ticket triage and resolution using ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar platforms.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to integrate Workday with other systems and enterprise platforms.
- Assist with user access and security administration in accordance with IT governance and audit controls.
Description
We are on the lookout for a Senior Workday Analyst to become a vital part of our Enterprise Applications team. This position will act as a crucial link between our internal business partners—primarily in Finance and Accounting—and the technical teams, aimed at supporting and enhancing our Workday platform. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Workday Financials, exceptional analytical skills, and a cooperative approach to drive the effective design, configuration, and implementation of solutions that cater to the needs of the organization. We are interested in individuals who have a proven track record of transforming business requirements into scalable system solutions while assuring the integrity, accuracy, and performance of core Workday modules such as Financials, Revenue Management, and Procurement.
