Must:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- At least 7 years of practical experience in Salesforce development and implementation across Sales, Service, Analytics, Community Cloud, and the Force.com Platform.
- Strong mastery of Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Aura, and Lightning Web Components.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce administration and configuration.
- Familiarity with code and data management tools such as VSCode, Data Loader, GitHub, Bitbucket, and Workbench.
- A solid background in enterprise integrations (with systems like SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, JIRA) using APIs and ETL tools like MuleSoft.
- Proven experience with both single-org and multi-org deployments.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, along with tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to fellow engineers, ensuring the adherence to best practices in architecture, coding, and overall delivery.
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Aura, and Lightning Web Components.
- Lead the setup and customization of Salesforce functionalities, including workflows, approvals, role hierarchy, validation rules, process automation, and security controls.
- Oversee integration efforts with enterprise systems (such as SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, and JIRA) utilizing REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and Salesforce-native integration services.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to convert requirements into precise technical specifications and solution designs.
- Drive enhancements in system performance, scalability, and overall maintainability.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure compliance with development standards.
- Support multi-org deployments, consolidations, and AppExchange integrations (including FinancialForce).
- Provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Mentor and coach junior staff members, fostering skills development and knowledge transfer.
- Contribute to roadmap planning, project management discussions, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
Description
We are looking for a Salesforce Principal Engineer to take charge of designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions. This position requires ensuring that our efforts align with business objectives and technological strategies. In this role, I expect you to bring extensive expertise in Salesforce, strong problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred. Additionally, experience with FinancialForce applications (such as Professional Services Automation, Revenue Recognition & Forecasting) and a background in documenting business processes and recommending future-state improvements would be advantageous.
