Requirements
Must:
- College or university education preferred; significant experience may be considered with a minimum of a high school diploma
- Valid Class G drivers license and access to reliable transportation
- At least 5 years of network administration experience, ideally in a telecommunications or ISP setting
- Cisco CCIE Service Provider or Juniper Service Provider Routing and Switching certification required
- Familiarity with network automation frameworks and scripting (Python or similar) for network operations preferred
- Experience with disaggregated or white-box network operating systems is a plus
- Knowledge of project and vendor management preferred
- Background in supporting multi-vendor technologies across edge, access, and core networks preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement, install, and maintain network systems, equipment, and infrastructure that support Execulinks products and services
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software problems reported by team members or monitoring systems; act as an escalation point for complex network incidents
- Utilize and support automation frameworks and tools to enhance network operations; execute, refine, and make controlled modifications to scripts and templates for configuration, provisioning, validation, and reporting
- Conduct on-site work as required at various equipment locations
- Liaise with third-party vendors for support as needed
- Create, review, and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, standards, procedures, and automation runbooks
- Share knowledge and provide training to colleagues on network tools and processes
- Perform software upgrades, patches, and network security updates across relevant systems
- Conduct proof-of-concept tests for new systems and oversee production rollouts
- Identify repetitive tasks and contribute to automation opportunities to improve efficiency
- Assist in the development of new services and technologies
- Undertake any other duties as assigned
