Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud-native deployment environments
- Strong background in software development with a capability to comprehend requirements and apply application design patterns
- Excellent understanding and implementation knowledge of memory and CPU optimized TCP/HTTP applications in Java (latest version)
- Proficient in developing highly resilient Java applications with a defensive coding mindset
- Expertise in implementing various AWS services in enterprise settings for time-sensitive, fault-tolerant, and highly available applications
- Familiarity with Java 21 and frameworks including Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring WebClient, and Spring Cache
- Understanding of HTTP/TCP protocols and integration using REST, JSON, and XML
- Experience with development tools such as IntelliJ IDEA and VS Code
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and infrastructure tools including GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Terraform, and CloudFormation
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain resilient Java applications by utilizing robust coding practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design effective solutions
- Implement AWS services like Lambda, SQS, ElastiCache, Kinesis, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, S3, ECS, and KMS in enterprise environments
- Optimize applications for maximum efficiency in memory and CPU usage
- Drive technical decisions regarding architecture and application design patterns
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely manner
