Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; alternatively, I have a High School Diploma or GED coupled with 12 years of pertinent experience.
- I possess 5+ years of experience in developing or configuring technology solutions, whether in an application analyst role or project delivery role.
- I have demonstrated the ability to understand and implement industry best practices.
- I am skilled in using computers, including internet navigation and email.
- I am proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- I have the ability to perform essential duties associated with this position, with or without accommodations.
Responsibilities
- I will take charge of the business systems design, configuration, upgrades, and enhancements for applications of low to medium complexity.
- I will design and implement innovative solutions to a variety of challenging problems.
- I will develop and configure the assigned application independently.
- I will identify and resolve issues in the application area and those affecting other application teams.
- I will create new processes and procedures to address current challenges and maintain system documentation.
- I will lead the estimation of enhancement or support requests, guide workflow designs, configure and test system changes, and analyze technical issues.
- I will collaborate with business system stakeholders and software vendors to align business needs with system changes.
- I will develop an understanding of operational needs to set direction for workflows and actively seek opportunities to enhance business processes with technological improvements.
- I will participate in developing documentation and conduct training while assisting end users.
- I will troubleshoot issues, providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
- I will serve as a subject matter expert for assigned applications and provide end-user production support.
- I will review project and issue statuses with project leadership and delegate tasks to team members as needed.
- I will mentor peers, leading problem-solving efforts even when they extend beyond normal scope.
- I will accelerate internal process design and documentation for continuous improvement within the IT department.
- I will take ownership of work activities to ensure timely and efficient completion.
- I will proactively seek additional assignments and assist colleagues.
- I will communicate effectively and clearly with project leadership and stakeholders.
- I will remain resilient in challenging situations and uphold high performance standards under pressure.
- I will be adaptable and willing to learn new software applications as business needs evolve.
- I will maintain regular attendance and may need to work nights and weekends, as required.
- I will be comfortable working on mobile devices or computers for around 90% of my day and travel between Exact Sciences locations if necessary, including occasional overnight travel amounting to about 5% of my working time.
