Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 13 years of strong Data Warehouse experience
- 5-10 years of expertise in Markit EDM (S&P), Informatica MDM, Informatica PowerCenter, or Informatica Cloud (IICS)
- Thorough knowledge of SQL Server and SQL queries
- Proficient in using the IHS Markit EDM Tool or CADIS
- Familiarity with Cloud Services related to Investments and Banking Finance (Security, FX, Pricing, Issuers, NAIC, Cashflows)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Background in Unix/shell scripting or other automation scripting
- Knowledge of Git/Bitbucket and CI/CD Pipelines
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and ensure compliance with controlled processes in alignment with business requirements
- Develop and support EDM solutions, showcasing expertise in a variety of technologies
- Design and implement a unified source of truth for Market Data using Markit EDM tool
- Create data flows, mastering, and perform business validations utilizing Markit EDM
- Develop user interfaces for reporting and operations using Markit EDM UI components
- Execute SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and dynamic queries
- Collaborate with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Subject Matter Experts, and development team to define and assess user stories in Jira
- Present solutions and communicate business value to stakeholders during sprint showcases
- Participate in platform investigations and conduct end-to-end testing as required
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers while offering development support for applications
- Perform testing on production and development applications, preparing recovery procedures and applying upgrades where necessary
- Work knowledgeably within the Investment Domain, especially related to batch processing
