Requirements
Must:
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in SAP, with experience preferred
- Background in food manufacturing, particularly in meat processing
- Solid understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations
- Ability to communicate in English; Spanish or Italian is a plus
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet management
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and setting priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to read, write, and interpret production data
- Familiarity with ERP systems and database management
Responsibilities
- Review and examine production data to uncover trends and areas for improvement
- Create and interpret performance reports, focusing on efficiency and quality metrics
- Offer insights and recommendations derived from data analysis to inform manufacturing decisions
- Monitor and ensure inventory accuracy within SAP
- Identify discrepancies and trends in inventory data, providing optimization strategies
- Work in collaboration with procurement and production teams to manage inventory and forecast needs
- Maintain and update production and inventory records within SAP, ensuring data integrity
- Address and resolve SAP-related issues concerning production and inventory
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to monitor production and inventory performance
- Document procedures and findings to facilitate continuous improvement
- Liaise with production, procurement, quality control, and finance teams to ensure data alignment
- Review orders to ensure accurate tracking of labor and material costs
- Exhibit excellent communication skills to relate effectively with a diverse workforce
- Uphold good attendance and fulfill additional duties as necessary
