Requirements
Must:
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Fundamental understanding of Mac operating systems or a willingness to learn
- Basic troubleshooting skills for printers, scanners, copiers, and Wi-Fi
- Comfortable utilizing remote desktop/support tools
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and document issues
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Capability to lift and relocate computers, monitors, printers, and office equipment as necessary
- Willingness to travel between local office locations when required
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical assistance to real estate agents, staff, managers, and escrow office personnel
- Assist in the onboarding process for new agents and staff, including account creation, email setup, and access to company systems
- Offer both remote and on-site support for Mac and PC platforms
- Aid agents in troubleshooting a variety of devices including laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, copiers, and mobile devices
- Install and configure office and home printers, addressing Wi-Fi, driver, and connectivity issues
- Conduct remote log-ins to resolve technical problems for agents and staff
- Diagnose and troubleshoot basic hardware issues, including sluggish, damaged, or non-operational computers
- Perform hardware upgrades such as HDD-to-SSD migrations and basic component replacements
- Work on a bench to inspect, clean, test, and repair computers and peripherals
- Resolve general hardware and software challenges across Windows, Mac, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Gmail, browsers, and common business applications
- Assist agents in accessing company tools, websites, portals, and communication systems
- Support in updating agent profiles, roster, and contact details across internal systems
- Deliver remote desktop support for a diverse range of technical challenges
- Help with basic home network setups, including Wi-Fi configuration and troubleshooting
- Provide guidance to agents on selecting and purchasing new technology equipment
- Support escrow office staff with routine technology inquiries and troubleshooting
- Document common issues, solutions, and recurring problems
- Escalate complex challenges to senior IT personnel when necessary
- Maintain a friendly, patient, and professional demeanor when assisting non-technical users
Description
We are a growing real estate company with hundreds of agents and multiple offices throughout the South Bay and Westside. Our focus is on leveraging technology, media, and hands-on support to empower our agents success. This position offers an excellent opportunity to acquire practical IT skills while collaborating closely with a dedicated team in a real-world business setting. The pay ranges from $25 to $28 per hour, depending on experience, and we offer both full-time and part-time schedules. Our office locations span the South Bay and Los Angeles coastal areas.
