Requirements
Must:
- IT Certifications relevant to the role
- Strong interpersonal skills including effective communication and active listening
- Proficient in diagnosing technical issues
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to rapid changes
- Familiarity with key IT support tools and practices
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to mentor or train fellow team members as required
- Prior experience in a managed services provider (MSP) setting is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in network engineering, firewall management, and routing protocols (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy network solutions including WAN and LAN connections, routers, firewalls, switches, and security measures
- Install and maintain switching, wireless infrastructure, and firewalls from various vendors
- Configure and deploy VOIP systems
- Address IT support issues related to network infrastructure, routing, switching, VPN, and access control
- Provide guidance to the NOC helpdesk team for effective client support
- Manage remote monitoring and management systems, including agent script updates and alert responses
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all network infrastructure
- Develop a Business Continuity Plan for clients encompassing data, telephony, and site information
- Evaluate and implement cybersecurity best practices and employee education initiatives
- Communicate effectively as a team contributor and maintain business awareness relevant to client needs
- Ensure accuracy and currency of customer documentation within ITGlue
- Document internal processes and keep time records in ConnectWise accurately
- Complete training for ConnectWise and manage project tickets as assigned
- Stay informed on industry advancements through IT publications and online resources
