Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Five years of professional experience in a related technical field, or
- Associates degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience, with seven years of professional experience
- High School diploma with nine years of professional experience in a related technical field
- Advanced knowledge of one or more cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus)
- Strong understanding of operational procedures, compliance requirements, and standards
- Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and propose solid solutions
- Preferred: Associate-level cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Solutions Architect - Associate) or willingness to obtain it within six months of hire
Responsibilities
- Oversee cloud operations tasks including incident response and automation
- Ensure the reliability and performance of cloud-based AI/ML environments
- Lead investigations and root cause analyses for infrastructure and platform-level issues
- Develop automated operational procedures to enhance cloud reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share operational insights
- Manage monitoring solutions to ensure system health and proactive alerts
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in cloud operations
- Initiate operational improvement strategies for better response and resiliency
