Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree in electrical engineering or equivalent technical experience
- Over 5 years of experience in testing, troubleshooting, and aligning down to the component level
- Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting digital tuners and receivers
- Expertise in at least one of the following: 1) RF and Microwave testing in the 20 MHz to 50 GHz frequency range, 2) Utilizing test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, noise figure meters, and oscilloscopes, or 3) Reworking/soldering printed circuit board components
- Strong team player with adaptability and exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to adhere to verbal and written instructions
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing, tuning, and troubleshooting of intricate tuners, receivers, and their various components, across frequency ranges from 20 MHz to 50 GHz
- Interpret schematics, instructions, and alignment procedures
- Diagnose issues at the component level and perform rework or soldering as needed
- Engage in all stages of product design from initial concept to system and component design (hardware & software), including testing and ensuring successful production
- Collaborate closely with hardware and software designers to fulfill system design specifications
- Maintain documentation of engineering development and production test data
- Formulate and document production test plans
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned
