Requirements
Must:
- Over 4 years of experience in developing production web applications
- Proficient in C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL Server
- Extensive experience in Azure environments
- Skilled in designing APIs and internal systems
- Familiar with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or Alpine
- Experience integrating various third-party platforms including e-commerce, ERP, and logistics systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ownership mindset and proactive in approach
- Adaptable to a dynamic, operations-focused atmosphere
- Willing to work partially on-site in Glen Cove, NY
Responsibilities
- Take charge of the development, upkeep, and enhancement of the Epicore internal platform
- Construct and oversee order management and cook-order automation workflows for production and fulfillment
- Design and execute integrations between Epicore and platforms like Shopify, Galley, ShipStation, and AfterShip
- Create and manage web portals, survey tools, and tailored ordering sites for enterprise clients
- Assist in the growth of new business lines (B2B, Fallon, acquisitions) via system extensions and novel features
- Enhance operational tools for customer service, culinary, and fulfillment teams
- Lead the migration of Epicore from ASP.NET Web Forms / SQL Server to ASP.NET MVC / Razor with Microsoft Entra ID authentication
- Make technical decisions within Epicore’s scope and perform tasks with significant autonomy
- Identify and prioritize technical debt while managing stabilization, modernization, and feature delivery
- Provide regular updates to the CTO and SVP of Software Development regarding risks, tradeoffs, and progress
