Requirements
Must:
- Over 4 years of experience in automation development
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript, and familiarity with automation platforms like UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere
- Knowledge of internal control frameworks (NIST, COBIT, COSO, SOX) along with compliance standards and regulatory guidelines is preferred
- Experience with IT Service Management, ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, and GRC tools is advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated workflows and scripts to facilitate internal control testing and monitoring
- Create and maintain automation for evidence collection, control validation, and reporting purposes
- Integrate automation solutions with IT Service Management (ITSM), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) platforms, and other enterprise applications
- Collaborate with independent risk management and compliance teams to interpret control requirements and convert them into technical solutions
- Support third-party vendor engagements related to control testing automation by leading status meetings and ensuring oversight of Bots and usage of APIs
- Utilize tools to automate reporting of control testing metrics and time-sensitive notifications from the enterprise GRC system
- Assist in implementing control frameworks like NIST, COSO, SOX, and COBIT through automation
- Identify control gaps and opportunities for further automation
- Generate reports on control performance, deficiencies, and recommendations for remediation
- Contribute to risk mitigation strategies through technology-driven solutions
- Document automation logic, control mappings, and system configurations to ensure audit readiness
- Complete additional assigned duties as necessary
